Meet Paul Rasmussen

Paul Rasmussen is a working creator who teaches the skills he uses every day.

With more than four years as Senior Videography Specialist at Dave Creek Media, he has directed, shot, and edited music videos, artist sizzle reels, marketing campaigns, and short-form content. He moves fluidly between Sony, Canon, Blackmagic, and RED cameras and is equally at home in Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve. He is also an FAA Part 107 certified drone pilot and active photographer whose work supports both commercial clients and independent artists.

On the music side, Paul has taught piano and guitar at Guitar Center in Little Rock, taking students from basic scales and chords to live performance and original songwriting. He has performed his own material on stage and produced music videos that carried full multi-week marketing rollouts. His University of Alabama degree in Telecommunications and Film, paired with a Business minor, gives him rare fluency in both the creative process and the economics of making art sustainable.

What sets Paul apart as a mentor is his refusal to separate skill from signal. He teaches music, editing, videography, and photography the same way he practices them: ship imperfect work, stay in motion, and build the habits that turn creative competence into real opportunity. Through Mellearn he is building the resource he wishes he had earlier — practical, accessible training designed for people who want to learn and earn with their craft.
